Been a busy boy recently with all the clear nights around a new moon, something almost unheard of! Managed another 90 mins on one of my favourite areas to image, bringing it up to 3hrs 45 exposure time so far, despite the glaring Xmas lights! Some more Jupiter action, this time with the GRS (Great Red Spot) swinging around from the left. Reprocessed my best Jupiter and it turned out even better! The moon Io down to the bottom right, with the shadow crossing the planet. So happy with this! Mak102, x2 Barlow, ADC, 183C Hypercam. Not the best ever, but MY best and I'm proper happy with it. Think there's also the hint of a transit shadow on the right from one of the moons? First Orion Nebula of the season finally. Good to see it appearing at a decent time. This is a mere 40 mins exposure time taken from light polluted skies in Gloucester. Small @sky_watcher_official refractor telescope, dedicated @altair_astro astronomy camera, 1 min exposures to try and keep the bright core blowing out. One of the most photographed regions of space Work in progress Work in progress Need to keep an eye on this one! Benj learning to process planetary, and his final version of Saturn. All done by him.
